The University of Memphis seeks a development professional for the open position of Phonathon Coordinator within the Department of Annual Giving.
The Phonathon Coordinator assists in the responsibilities for the administrative and programmatic aspects of the University of Memphis Annual Giving operation, primarily the Phonathon. The Phonathon Coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the Phonathon program. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving.
Core responsibilities include: Develop and oversee all aspects of the implementation of the University of Memphis Phonathon program; provide support for the Annual Giving fundraising campaigns, programs, and initiatives; perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Annual Giving.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 1 year of development, non-profit, or fundraising related experience required.
Special Conditions:
Requires flexible hours to include evenings and some weekends.
Familiarity with fundraising software programs desired.
Proven verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to use current computer technology. (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience managing Phonathon/telefund programs desired.
Time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks required.
Interpersonal skills and judgment suitable for exercising appropriate discretion and demeanor when dealing with employees, staff members, and the public.
Ability to analyze data and manage detailed information.
